Quiet Steward ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting the personal data of everyone who contacts us or uses our services. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how long we retain it, and what rights you have under Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (PDPA).

2. Data We Collect
We collect only the data necessary to provide our services and respond to enquiries:
- Contact data: name, email address, telephone number — provided when you submit an enquiry form or call us.
- Service coordination data: your address, visit scheduling preferences, and any notes you share with us about the scope of a home visit.
- Website usage data: anonymous analytics data collected via cookies (if you consent) — page views, session duration, browser type.
We do not collect financial data beyond what is needed to issue invoices. We do not process payment card data on this website.
3. Legal Basis for Processing
- Contract performance: processing necessary to arrange and carry out a booked service.
- Legitimate interests: responding to enquiries and communicating about a service you have requested.
- Consent: analytics cookies — collected only after you accept in the cookie banner.
4. How We Use Your Data
- To respond to your enquiries and confirm service bookings.
- To coordinate and conduct home visits.
- To issue invoices and receipts.
- To improve our website (analytics data, with consent only).
- To comply with legal obligations under Thai law.
We do not use your data for unsolicited marketing and we do not sell or rent your data to any third party.
5. Data Retention
Contact enquiry data is retained for 12 months from the date of last contact. Service coordination records are retained for 3 years from the date of service completion to allow for warranty and reference purposes. Invoice and financial records are retained for 7 years in accordance with Thai accounting law. Analytics data is anonymised and aggregated; it is not linked to individual identities.
6. Data Security
We store personal data on password-protected systems with restricted staff access. Service coordination notes taken during home visits are stored in a secure internal file, not shared outside the team, and deleted when the retention period expires. We do not transfer personal data outside Thailand without appropriate safeguards.
7. Cookies
We use essential cookies for basic site function and optional analytics cookies (with your consent) to understand how the site is used. You can manage your cookie preferences at any time by visiting our Cookie Policy page.
8. Third-Party Services
We use Google Analytics (if you consent to analytics cookies) to understand website usage. Google's privacy practices are described at policies.google.com. We use Google Maps to display our location; this is embedded via a standard iframe and does not require a user account. We do not use social media tracking pixels.
9. Your Rights Under the PDPA
Under Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act, you have the right to:
- Access a copy of personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of data where retention is no longer necessary.
- Object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Withdraw consent for analytics cookies at any time.
- Lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC) of Thailand.

10. Children's Privacy
Our services are directed at adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted data to us, please contact us immediately at [email protected] and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page with a revised date. Continued use of our website or services after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
