1. Definitions
- "Service" refers to any of the three offerings described on this website: the Legacy Conversation Starter Set, the Single-Day Records Sorting visit, and the Annual Family Archive plan.
- "We / Us / Our" refers to Quiet Steward, operating from 96 Naradhiwas Rajanagarindra Road, Yan Nawa, Sathon, Bangkok 10120, Thailand.
- "User / You" refers to any individual who accesses this website or engages our services.
- "Agreement" refers to these Terms and Conditions, together with any service confirmation sent by us.
- "Content" refers to all text, images, and materials on this website.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing this website or engaging our services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement. If you are booking a service on behalf of another person or a household, you confirm that you have authority to do so.
3. Service Description
Quiet Steward provides personal record organisation, family storytelling facilitation products, and personal archive services. Our services are administrative and creative in nature. We do not provide legal advice, financial advice, tax guidance, estate planning services, or any service requiring a regulated professional licence in Thailand or elsewhere.
Services are currently available to households in Bangkok and the surrounding area. We reserve the right to decline or reschedule a booking if travel to the requested location is not feasible.
4. Bookings and Confirmation
A booking is confirmed only when we send a written confirmation by email or messaging platform. A booking form submitted through our website constitutes an enquiry, not a confirmed booking. We will respond to all enquiries within two working days.
5. Payment Terms
All prices are quoted and payable in Thai Baht (฿). Payment is due in full prior to the service date unless otherwise agreed in writing. For the Annual Family Archive plan, payment may be made as a single annual fee or in two instalments as agreed at the time of booking. We accept bank transfer and cash.
6. Cancellation and Rescheduling
For home visit services, cancellation with more than 48 hours' notice will receive a full refund. Cancellation within 48 hours of a scheduled visit will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the visit price. Rescheduling with more than 48 hours' notice is available at no charge, subject to team availability.
The Legacy Conversation Starter Set is a physical product. Once dispatched, it cannot be returned or refunded unless it arrives damaged. If the set arrives in a damaged condition, please contact us within 7 days with a photograph and we will arrange a replacement.
7. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information when making an enquiry or booking.
- Ensure that a responsible adult is present throughout any home visit.
- Inform us of any access requirements, health considerations, or household circumstances that may affect the visit.
- Use the website for lawful purposes only.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, design, layout, and images — is owned by Quiet Steward or licensed for our use. You may not reproduce, distribute, or adapt any content without our written permission. The prompts contained in the Legacy Conversation Starter Set are the intellectual property of Quiet Steward and may not be reproduced for commercial purposes.
9. Disclaimers
Services are provided on an "as-is" basis. We make no representation that any particular outcome — including a completed archive, a specific volume of records sorted, or a particular quality of printed booklet — will be achieved within any given timeframe. All service descriptions are indicative.
We are not responsible for the content or condition of documents, photographs, or other materials that are brought to our attention during a home visit. Families retain full responsibility for their own records at all times.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Thai law, our liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or from the provision of a service is limited to the fee paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses. We are not liable for loss or damage to documents or other property unless caused by our negligence, in which case liability is limited to the replacement cost of the item.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Quiet Steward against any claim, loss, or expense arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of our website, or your provision of inaccurate information at the time of booking.
12. Termination
Either party may terminate an Annual Family Archive plan by providing 30 days' written notice. Upon termination, any completed visits will be invoiced at the standard single-day rate (฿5,200 per visit). Prepaid but unused visits will be refunded on a pro-rata basis. We reserve the right to terminate a service engagement if your conduct during a visit is unsafe, threatening, or unreasonably obstructive to our team.
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to seek resolution through good-faith negotiation in the first instance. If negotiation does not resolve the matter within 30 days, disputes will be referred to the competent courts of Bangkok, Thailand.
14. General Provisions
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the parties in respect of the subject matter. If any provision is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force. Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of our rights. These Terms may not be assigned by you without our written consent.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The revised version will be published on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of our website or services after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
